9:00 am and 10:00 am weekly
Chapel day! Chapel day! – that’s what heard in the hallway and in LHCCEC classrooms every Wednesday morning. LHCCEC children, Explorers through Young Scholars (that’s 18 months through pre-kindergarten) hear the stories of the Bible coupled with age-appropriate life applications.
“Whats an ‘age-appropriate life application’ for an 18 month old?” you might ask. How about God’s love and care for all He has made? How about kindness, thoughtfulness, “Whats an ‘age-appropriate life application’ for an 18mo. old?” trust, sharing, and courage? These are all age-appropriate life applications for every age – even adults!
LHCCEC’s Bible curriculum is an age-appropriate two-year overview of the entire Bible, both Old and New Testaments. Chapel is “parent-friendly”. Parents are ALWAYS welcome to participate in weekly chapel.
LHCCEC parents will receive a weekly “Heritage Home Discussion” which includes a story review, questions to ask about the day’s story, a home activity and prayer. A booklet of chapel songs is available. Just ask office staff for a copy!
Navigator (school-age) parents receive a “Heritage Home Discussion” as well. Holiday and summer vacation chapel is held at 11:00 am on Wednesdays for Navigators.
